The Wendy's Dodgers win streak comes tom an end with a 5-4 loss to the Mets Sunday night at Maple Park. Alex Lee got a big hit in the top of the 6th with one out driving in the fifth run of the game making the score 6-5 and leaving bases loaded for a chance to take the first lead in the game, however a strikeout and a force play gave the Mets the second and third out they needed for the win. In total Alex went 2 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Great games were also had by Max Van Dyke who went 5 for 5 with a double and a RBI, Colton Hilborn went 4 for 6 scoring 3 runs, Ethan Fortier who went 4 for 5 with a double and scoring 2 runs, and Edie Jones went 3 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Next up for the Dodgers are the Athletics who are undefeated against rival Welland teams, Monday July 3rd game time 6:15.
