18U HL Game Day Card - Quick Rules
18U Game Day Card as per Niagara Interlock Baseball rule book
- Mound 60’-6”, Bases 90’, Wooden Bats only, metal cleats allowed
- May start and must finish with minimum of 8 players
- Regular season only = may borrow within same division or below and
- player may pitch with permission from the lending team
- 3 inningsor 60 minutes is considered official ( 7 innings max)
- No new inning after 1hr 30 min, umpire will not call last inning
- Run per inning= 5,5,5,5,5,5,5
- Mercied team may take last at bats for developmental purposes
- Everyone must sit out 1x before players sits his/her 2x/game
- No defensive restrictions but be mindful ( ex. gap in score)
- Next inning catcher ( have ready with 2 outs, last out runs for catcher)
- 1st pitch should be less than 2 minutes from previous set of 3 outs
- Pitcher = 6 new, 4 returning, max 7 innings/game, max 7 innings over 2
- games ( player may pitch and catch within same game)
- Balks are called right from day 1
- Pitcher replaced at 2nd mound visit of inning ( non injury visit)
